Ok-maybe that was just to drag you in. This thread is an inevitable consequence of the World Cup Qualifiers thread asking did Ireland have a chance of beating the Swiss.

Of course we didn't, because our whole set-up is a joke, from manager, to association, right down to youth training.

So, as the knives come out for Brian Kerr-rrash!, and what can the next fellow do to stem the tide, before we end up being seeded behind the Faroe Islands and Usbekkiskasakustan (ok- I made that last one up), whoever he is:[b]

Most countries get by with a Prime Minister or King or something. Some backward countries have Presidents but they are stupidheads.
