Ok class let's review....

After the "new update":

1) I have to go back and re-file a bunch of games that I had already archived.

2) It's harder to put games into the archives. THis used to be accomplished with one easy click - not anymore.

3) I now have to click on every game to see information that I used to could see on the screen at all times, i.e. exact game time remaining.

Maybe there are bells & whistles that I don't use that were improved with the update. However, my gaming experience was not improved.

Oh well, I guess techies and consultants have to justify their existence every so often.

Ah well, at least the trash talking in the forums is safe! They mess with that, I'm leaving.

I'm disappointed that the Inbox folder is gone.

Read this page, and perhaps you'll not feel so bad about the 'inbox'.

It isn't really gone.

All of a sudden "My Games" doesn't show the recently completed games that I had left there for my own purposes of review. Where did these games go? How would I know since someone else has messed with my records.

Perhaps RHP is so successful the site doesn't have to give a damn about what its members think about compulsory "upgrades". Is this the online chess equivalent of "regime change " every time an html coder needs to put in some overtime?

You actually had finished games archived that were NOT archived? Follow my link above, Russ was posting in that thread.

It's a mess all right. It used to be so simple, but now they've made it complicated. I don't see that this improves anything.
