The person above me is faster than I am. Although he's a liar.

(zed -> frenzy?)

The person above me obviously has no idea how "Nordlys" is pronounced (admittedly, I can't think of an English word which would rhyme with it...). Therefore, no rhyme for you either. 😉

Hmm...then enlighten me. How do you pronounce your enigmatic name?

Well, that's a bit difficult, because the "y"-sound doesn't exist in English. The first part ("nord", which means "north" ) sounds approximately like "noor", "oo" as in "boot". For the second part ("lys", which means "light" ), I think the closest you can get with English sounds would be "lees", "s" as in "see". The "y"-sound is somewhere between English "ee" and French "u" or German "ü".

The person above me just learned something.

Wouldn't that mean that my original rhyme would work? Pee and Lee? Or, Pee and See?

The person above me is very old.

Very old and very odd. The person above me still needs to learn that the "s" in "Nordlys" is part of the name. Peace.
