I took music lessons ( the tuba) in the last 2 years of primary school and the 4 years of high school at which point I stopped. About 40 years later a friend, who was in a local amateur band said they needed a tuba player. I told her it had been decades since I last played but she convinced me to join. I was absolutely amazed that after so long a hiatus that I remembered how to play and read the music. Must be like riding a bike or swimming. 😲 😀

I was talking about canasta, not tuba. Canasta is A LOT MORE difficult. So we have to practice. 🙂

I use to play Canasta when I was in my teens, wasn't each player dealt 15 cards?

I forget many of the rules, but I don't think it would take me long to learn it all again, I was a fairly good player.
