GBS throws his money around like a Scotsman with no arms. 😉
@torunn saidI shared a house with another guy for about five and a half years (in my youth), and after I ended that relationship I thought it would be better for me to just keep my own place and not try to co-habitate again.
Imagine people living in a small apartment - they share kitchen, living-room, bedroom, bathroom - they share everything. Keeping a man cave so that you can be for yourself for a while also gives me a break. I can still do things around the house, but I'm on my own.
@kevin-eleven saidI've noticed life can be a bowl of cherries too.

Never been happier doing it solo
@earl-of-trumps saidLiving alone, having your own stuff has many benefits. I can't think of having it any other way, but some of my friends feel differently - they need someone to share life with and for them living single is no option.

@torunn saidHere I is. My 7 roommates and I sat down last night to go over the bills and looking for my arms.🤔😲

Money anyone?😁
@great-big-stees saidThat's another advantage with living single - I know exactly where the money goes. 🙂

@torunn saidSpeaking of money. When you get together with your canasta friends, do you play for money?🤔

@great-big-stees saidNo, we play for the honour of winning, the result of which is quickly forgotten by most of us. As I am keen on winning, I keep it in mind for a while. 🙂

@torunn saidI bet you have a book, recording all you victories, allowing you to look back with pride on those momentous occasions.🤔😲😉

@great-big-stees saidI'm not like that at all, I easily forget and move on, but playing canasta can be pretty intense at times and when you play with a partner, you want to do your best. 🙂

@kevin-eleven saidIt can be a lot easier that way. 🙂
