"Tyger, tyger burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?"
Tigers get very, very hungry and with their voracious appetite they devour all in their way. This tiger will return.

Originally posted by Pianoman1True. However, even in those days it was generally considered bad form to mix assonance and proper rhyme. Note that all other couplets in that poem do rhyme normally - it's only those two lines (and their repetition at the end) which use an eye-rhyme. That wasn't Blake following an ancient tradition, that was just Blake being a hack on dope.

Note also his pseudo-archaicising spelling of "Tyger" - he wasn't doing any of this out of tradition, he was doing it with a pretense to tradition. And, IMABIO, he failed at that.

Tiger is -1 for the first day at the Open.
His playing partners, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson were both at +8 for the round.
Tiger is on the move.

I have strong doubts. Every major he flops like the Masters he'll question himself more and more. Shots he would make blindfolded in the past he can't make anymore. Now he's up against those he inspired into becoming golf freaks. Has become too cautious. Now the McIlroys, Watsons and others try the Tiger shots of old and make these whereas Tiger is always a "choke" away from blandness!
