His behaviour to his wife was beyond the pale, but I think that is, and should have, remained a private matter.
But the idea that someone ranked 2nd in the world cannot win another major is just silly. He may not win another, but he still has the ability. The difference today is that he probably has to hope that some of the other top guns have an off day, whereas before it didn't matter.

It will be interesting today to see if Tiger gets picked to play both matches. Is there any other player who would be played in such circumstances, especially for the foursomes?
The correct decision would be to 'rest' Tiger for the foursomes and play him for the four balls, where his errant driving is less penal.
But Tiger does seem to be immune from being left out.
