It does sound ridiculous calling in the army to shovel snow but it's not as dumb as it sounds.

What year did Montreal call in the army? Something like 10 years ago? That was a bad blizzard. The only thing that was silly during that storm was the looks on Montrealers faces frozen in giant blocks of ice. Oh, and the fact that the Hydro Quebec building turned on ALL OF ITS LIGHTS while the rest of the city was in darkness. 🙄
