Is absolutely the best thing on TV when it's on...

2 questions:

1) Does anyone know how many people have been killed in the entire series (any US or ROI replies need to remember that we've only just started Series 6 in the UK - so don't spoil it!)

2) Favourite/Most Effective character?

Through season five, near as I can figure, is forty seven.

Favorite character - probably Paulie Walnuts. As murderous a sociopath as you'll find anywhere.
Have you counted?

I started counting ages ago when watching the DVD's but I'm sure I got to more than that, and that was before Series 5...

Paulie is great... I like Chrissy - easily lead by TS, and then passes on his thoughts as his own! And hey! come on, anyone that gets that close to Drea Di Matteo must be a star!!

I'm not sure how many have been killed. You could go to www.televisionwithoutpity.com and post the question there. The fans on those message boards seem to know everything about their shows. 🙂

I think Carmela is easily the most interesting character. She struggles so hard to reconcile the image she has of herself and the life she actually lives. Every so often, she lets it slip in subtle ways that she is far more aware than she lets on. And she's just cool as hell. Who else can use a ricott' pie as a weapon?

My girlfriend loves Carmela as well.

As for who I think is the most interesting, it's got to be Tony himself!

Yeah I'm a big fan. I might have left out one or two, I don't think so. Silvio too. Stevie plays that role to perfection. Chrissy's a weasel, but not a rat. I don't like him.

Tell you what - and I don't want to get off track in your thread - but Hu$tle is another great series. I like it alot.
Chrissy's no weasel!!! He's family!
How difficult must it have been to give up a piece of ass like Adriana?

I used to like Ralphie until TS did him with the frying pan!

Not seen Hustle.

She's starting to look old now though... Meadow is the new Carmella!

The Soprano's are great, but the last season sucked, huge.

edited out to protect the uk-people, whoops

The last season seems to have been written by day-time-soap writers.

What's with Janice having baby all of a sudden. How old is she? She's 2 years older than Tony.

What was with the lame paulie side-story, "I'm not really your mother".

Add to it the big gay theme with Vito....

Ahhh stop it!!!! You can't mention Series 6!!!!

We're only on episode 4 (this week)..... we know about Jan's baby and we know Vito's got gay tenencies, but we aren't aware of Paulie's 'mother problems'....

It's feasible that Janice could've had a kid... although can you imagine her and Bacala bumping and grinding? On second thoughts. you're right - it's totally unbelievable!

Do yourself a favor, stop watching series 6 and just replay 1-5. You can thank me later.

You just ruined it for everyone in the UK. I have to agree with your assessment though. Still, I think it's the calm before the storm. Looking forward to the final season.

I really enjoyed the A.J. and Chris/ER girl storylines.

The dream sequence was pretty cool.
