By and large the majority of RHP users seem to be from Europe and North America. This isn't that surprising. Of the posters whose posts I consistently enjoy however, four are southern hemisphere dwellers: Crowley, Braino (he saves it nowadays for in-game), dfm65 (when he's not getting himself embroiled in arguments 😉) and the excellent dyl. Those four in particular seem to have a nack of making me smile.
Differences in humour between the UK and US are well-known*, but is it fair to say that there are also differences between northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere humour? (a sample size of four taken from two countries based on a handful of posts in the general forum of a chess site seems a pretty conclusive test to me).
*actually, I'm not sure I could give that many examples - what are the differences and are they just stereotypes?
