I failed the hazard perception first time as well. I passed second time. Then it was nearly two years until I took my practical test due to cash flow problems. I failed this first time, my theory expired so I had to take the whole lot again.

I think the DVLA made a packet out of me.

Seems like you have a lot of work to get your theory done over there. I've got my theory exam on monday next week - 30 multiple choice questions out of which I'm only allowed to get 3 wrong if I want to pass. None of that perception stuff though... when will you be doing your practical exam?
