@very-rusty saidYou simply have misread or not read my posts. I 'don't' believe in angels.
To me, an atheist is a person who doesn't believe in God or any of the things that go with it one of which is angels. So how can you believe in angels? You'd have to believe in God to believe in Angels. Now your saying a random interaction could be something otherworldly? You can't have your cake and eat too. You either believe in God and everything that goes with it whic ...[text shortened]... as far as I can see. Don't give me the crap about reading and not understanding what I read.

I've said only that a person who 'does' believe in angels (many if not most Christians for example) could mistakenly believe they have seen an angel, especially at a vulnerable time in their lives. Do you not agree with this?
We can extrapolate from this and apply it to ghosts or aliens. Mr X believes in them and Mr Y does not. Both see a strange light. Mr X mistakenly attributes them to ghosts or aliens (as he already believes they exist) while Mr Y, seeing the same lights, rationalizes them away as a weather phenomena or military aircraft etc.
It is not unreasonable I believe for a person who genuinely believes in angels to also believe at some stage in their life they have had an encounter with an angel. There are no doubt thousands of such people out there who believe in them, who are neither liars or deluded. (Just mistaken).
-Removed-As a Christian, do you believe in angels? - This is the problem you have with your line of reasoning. If you 'don't' believe in angels then you have real problems in regards to scripture as angels feature in the Bible at really critical moments. If, on the other hand, you 'do' believe in angels, why would you automatically think Suzianne is lying or deluded about her encounter?
I don't expect an answer to this question and it highlights the absurdity of your position.
