Longer days = less (visible) nordlys, so I am actually glad the days are rapidly getting shorter. 🙂

You mean you turn invisible in daylight?!?! What a great power to have. 😲

Well, being invisible has a lot of advantages, but it also has disadvantages. Imagine you need to buy something, but the salesperson always looks through you as if you weren't there.

You could only shop at night, when you are visible.

Certainly it would be a better power if you could toggle your invisibility on/off, instead of it depending on daylight.

1. There is no night in summer.
2. The shops are not open around the clock.
3. Even if it's dark outside and the shops are open, I am still invisible in the shops because they have lamps.

So your invisibility power is initiated by all light, not just sunlight?

That is a bummer.

Looks like internet shopping is the only way to go.

What is it like to have no night for such a long time? Is it one of those things that after awhile you don't even notice?

Yes, all light which is stronger than me will make me invisible.

Internet shopping is much better anyway, real shopping is a nightmare. But I need to eat, and I can't buy groceries on the internet...

I have noticed that I seem to have more problems to fall asleep when the nights start to disappear, but I get used to it again after a while. And then it's again strange when it starts getting dark at night. I think most people here sleep less in summer than in winter. Many people find the winter depressing, but I don't have problems with that. But it's always very nice to see the sun again for the first time after several weeks.

Well, another nice day here, but starting tomorrow my weather reports will be from Burlington, Vermont. Maybe weather will be more interesting then.

Well, Sunday it rained in Burlington early in the day, then cleared up and was sunny around noon. Monday was hot and humid and clear and today is pleasently cloudy and cool, it might rain later. There is your update, now from Northern Vermont instead of New Hampshire.
