Movies like Plan 9 are bad but that hardly comes as a surprise, as nobody had any expectations that it would ever be good. For a movie to be truly bad it must have had high expectations at one point that it could have turned out to have been a good movie.

Therefore, my nomination for the worst movie of all time is Pearl Harbor. An absolutely wretched movie that could have been so much more. It is the movie, in my opinion, that has the widest gap between its actuality and its potentiality.

for a trully awful film, watch "battlefeild: Earth" or "freddy Vs Jason". or even *coughs* "trevor Vs Jason". ive not seen the last one, but, correct me if i'm wrong, they're just trying to cash in on an already failing franchise...😛
and the last 2 matrix films. they couldn't compete with the first, and just confused matters...
and "session nine". i get scared easy. but this "phycological horror" didn't even make me jump. i was bored. it was crap.

Genius:You're in luck then. I've heard that they're going to do a remake of From Hell it Came,with Vin Diesel starring,which is a perfect choice. After all,who better to portray a walking tree than someone who has all the charisma,facial expressions,and acting ability of a tree?

Compared to Vin Diesel,Jim Varney was a regular Barrymore. Here are a few other stinkeroo's I culled from my memory: Ishtar,Gigli(or anything else Bennifer is in),Terror from the Year 5000,The Crawling Eye,Killers From Space,Navy vs. the Night Monsters,The Monolith Monsters, most of the '70's Godzilla movies,and Tri-Star's Godzilla-no wonder the Japanese took the franchise back!
