First order of business-get rid of all the overpaid, under(or non)-achieving prima donnas. Kevin Brown,Jason Giambi,Ruben Sierra,Kenny Lofton,Javiar Vasquez,Paul Quantrill-adios.get Carlos Beltran, put him in center, make Bernie the DH. Rotation-Mussina,Mike Lowe,Eric Milton,Tanyon Sturtze. NO retreads like David Wells,Randy Johnson,or Pedro. Put Loaiza in the pen,as long relief, along with Heredia. Take a long look at both Gordon, and Rivera-they're starting to lose it. Keep John Olerud, and back him with Tony Clark at first. Get rid of Mel S. Bring up Dior Navarro, and let him spell Posada for 35-40 games-he was overworked all year.Keep Bubba Crosby,as outfield back-up for Sheffield.

Start by getting rid of PayRod. Every team he has left has gotten better!
No BS, check it out.

John Olerud and Tony Clark at first base? Talk about a couple of has beens. Clark had a few good seasons with Detroit, but those days are (as Ernie Harwell would say) lo-o-o-o-o-o-ong gone.

You're just jealous. A-rod is one of the big money players who has earned his keep.

I pray to The God that Beltran does NOT go to the Yankees after this year. I'm hoping he'll sign with the Jays and that they will smite all their enemies and recapture some of that glory back. But let's be realistic. I will probably have to wait longer than 86 years if I ever want to see the Jays win the Series again.

Earned his keep? He ditched the M's for the Rangers and a boatload of money. The Rangers did absolutely nothing while he was there while the M's went on to greater sucess. He ditched the Rangers for another boatload of money for the Yankees (forgot about the Sox didn't he?) and a ring. And the only ring he has now is the one around his bathtub.
Hahahahahahahahahahaaha!
Now ain't that the truth you little Steinbrenner boot licker?

Your pal,
Frank
