While we're on the subject, I saw a nature show on lions a few years back, and apparently the male lion has a sharp barb on his member. Apparently, it feels fine going in, but whooo boy, does it ever hurt that pretty little she-lion when it comes out. It's supposed to stimulate ovulation or blood flow to the genitals, or somesuch, but all we see is the she-lion craning her neck around to try and bite the male lion's head off.
