Oh sure, we can drink. I love being outside under the right circumstances. I love the snow, I love the beach. It's just that the woods bore me.
I even love the woods but I just happen to like a nice cabin at the end of the day.

You're not looking at the right places.

Take a good hard look at the ground when you are there.
Get down on your hands and knees...brush the leaves aside...you will find all kinds of cool stuff to look at.

Trees are cool to look at, their bark has intricate designs, their leaves are perfectly made to absorb solar radiation and carbon dioxide. These are amazing things!
I like the woods, too. By the time I leave camping, I know my area pretty well. I love collecting wood for the fire. I actually like packing. Cooking is good. We always meeting interesting creatures. The kids are in heaven.

When we went last time I just could not believe how many daddy long legs there were. Lots of frogs. A skunk getting into my uncleaned pans 😞. We go to a couple of different places but I prefer the state parks. Where do you guys go?

We always camp along the river someplace.
There are organized campgrounds around that we go to for water, but we generally camp on our own. That way we can take the dog and let her run wild, she generally brings back little rodents she has killed. 😕
