What bothers you? You may need to go for a longer time. It takes a day or two to get over the discomfort. I love camping but when I go it's almost like surrendering to the whole experience and chilling out.

Camping is not for everybody. It can be boring if you don't have stuff to do. I went camping alot as a kid and I love being outside. Take a good hard look at the ground when you are there.
Get down on your hands and knees...brush the leaves aside...you will find all kinds of cool stuff to look at.
Trees are cool to look at, their bark has intricate designs, their leaves are perfectly made to absorb solar radiation and carbon dioxide. These are amazing things!
