That is some rare stuff you have there. Legendary bottle shape - get it insured. I mean re assessed.

I regretted dumping all my old cords when I left UK ... seemed so wasteful.

I have a box in the garage fully of high quality (kudos) speaker cable, RGB leads, scart leads and various other audio connectors of which I have no idea what they do.

I believe that within the garages of men of a certain age there will be sufficient old cable to create an alternative world wide cable network that runs at a more dignified speed. I am already translating descriptions of humorous images of cats into morse code.

Old cables in the belief they will come in handy in the future. Anybody remember the 5 pin DIN plug??

I still have a tape player with that option (and the cable of course 🙂 )

I was going to suggest after mowing the lawn the cables could be laid in a collargue motif of a well known politician. Dust off the drone, take a piccy - Ebay.

It's probably in a box somewhere with the bunches of keys that definitely open some padlock or other somewhere I have lived.

Some ask really stupid questions just to get things going! 😉

The second one would or should have been the one removed.

Having said that we do have two "on this day" threads. Perhaps another reason it was removed or re-located.
