I believe that within the garages of men of a certain age there will be sufficient old cable to create an alternative world wide cable network that runs at a more dignified speed. I am already translating descriptions of humorous images of cats into morse code.

I was going to suggest after mowing the lawn the cables could be laid in a collargue motif of a well known politician. Dust off the drone, take a piccy - Ebay.

It's probably in a box somewhere with the bunches of keys that definitely open some padlock or other somewhere I have lived.

Who posted first?

The second one would or should have been the one removed.

Having said that we do have two "on this day" threads. Perhaps another reason it was removed or re-located.
