I am a master skydiver. You check while packing, after packing, before you board the plane and while to altitude, and you check yourself and have a buddy check before exit also. Reserve check, main check, handles check. Stuff happens tho usually during freefall or deployment of your canopy, others doing stupid stuff. Mostly bad landings. Be aware of your surroundings. Head on a swivel. Have fun. π π π

You don’t need to do that if you intend to leap only once. However, if you intend to leap again, I would definitely recommend checking thoroughly (see previous post).
