Wow this thread turned into a train wreck after I went to bed..... It was a pretty amusing read this morning though... You can actually see the moment ATY sobered up and read his own posts...... 😀

As to aeroplane..... it comes from Aerodynamic and plane as in to plane across the surface of the air using Aerodynamics not from air which doesn't make any sense.... So There thats why its aeroplane....

Same with hydroplane - does it make sense to turn this into waterplane..... No....... silly man...

The grammar thing: It's dreadful when you're asking a question that includes a quote, but the question mark doesn't belong within the quote.

Did you see "Guns of Navarrone?"

Did you see "Guns of Navarrone"?

The movie isn't "Guns of Navarrone?"

And some of you wonder why I'm angry.

I might shoot some of these rodents soon.

The first step might be me buying a gun. Or that might be the second step after I get threatened.

There are only so many steps before people start eating bullets ...[text shortened]... You think you're tougher than Hussein?

Johnny get your gun get your gun get your gun...

I get legal hash when I want it. There are collectives all over the place. Those laws only apply to people without doctor's recommendations.

On the weekends, I visit family, I visit friends, and I play on the computer mostly.

Echo Park, there's a blast from the past. My dad used to take me there to play, they had motorboats you could rent. This was in the 50's when it was a nice family setting. What's wrong with it now?
