Damn. I'm always a "Johnny-come-lately". I was there the end of October. 😳

Nope...1/2-3/4 of an hour, depending on the amount of pressure I exert on the accelerator.

Or 3 hours depending on how circuitous a route you take...

I must have got the geography wrong.

It would certainly be a very circuitous route in order to accomplish that kind of timing, like going to Detroit first. 😉

Geography lesson on Southwestern Ontario: Detroit 1-1/2hours to GBS. GBS 1/2-3/4 hour to London. London 2-1/2 to Toronto. All times are approximations, dependent on several possible variables.

I am between Erie and Huron. I have been to them all and if I were to choose I'd have to go with Huron and more specifically the Georgian Bay area. Great camping/canoeing and hiking areas.

I once lived in Battle Creek, and today discovered this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3215364/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Can't wait to see it.

I can't remember which of the lakes I went to, but I have treasured memories of a day out at Lake Michigan with my sister (I was probably around 5 years old at the time).

They're a natural wonder of the world aren't they?
