Thoughts for Sao Paulo

We can only look at our screen in horror tonight as the story unfolds of the Airbus tragedy in Sao Paulo, Brasil. Horrific loss of 276 passengers and 20 bystanders as the plane overshot the controversially short runway went through a motorway and hit a petrol station exploding in a fireball.

🙁 That's bad, that airport had a history of problems, shame it had come to this.

It was 176 on the plane not 276.. others were killed on the ground.
Apparently large airliners were banned from there because pilots said the runway was too short.. someone made an economic decision to lift that ban.
