Ah, that's good to know. It's much shorter to say "love live" than "I did not proof-read my post". Anyway, I'll go to bed now. Last night I packed all night, now I am really tired... Bonne nuit!

I don't know what half the stuff nordlys says means. She speaks too many languages, and I'm too stupid.

I believe that would be "bonnes noix", although my French is very rusty.

Think about the French title of the Nutcracker and you'll find your word.

If I write something in whatever language before going to bed, it usually means "good night". 🙂 Saying "good night" in as many languages as possible was part of my good night ritual when I was a kid. It doesn't mean I speak all those languages. German, Norwegian and English are the only languages I speak fluently.

Don't be modest. What about the ones you speak less fluently?

I had to look that up - casse-noisette. But I knew that "noix" was correct, I just wasn't 100% sure about the grammar. "Noisette" is derived from "noix" (it's like the ending "-chen" or "-lein" in German, it's a diminutive).

You are right, noix is better.

I mix up both words a lot... noisettes (hazelnuts ) with noix (nuts or walnuts) in French. My bad.

Nordlys, when are you going to be done. This is no fun any more. 🙁 That's why I called you a monkey. I'm just mad that you're gone. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have taken it out on you.

I'm going to write you a poem.

Are you mad that I am gone or that I am not gone? Or are you simply mad? 🙄 I am looking forward to your poem. Will it be in Walrussian?

After hitting "reply and quote", this looks Russian to me, although it could also be another language which uses Russian letters. I can say (but not write) "good night" and "this is not the moon, it is my auntie" in Russian, and I can usually recognize the names of composers written in Russian letters, but that's about it.

I speak bulgarian and therefore I understand a little russian. I don't know if it was correct but I was asking if you spoke Wal-russian in cyrilic...😳

Edit: Strange that the coding of the posting page supports cyrillic and this one doesn't...
