I like big groups but I know a lot of people don't like to play as many games as I do. Perhaps maybe a 3x3 grouped random with 7/7 time controls would work. Grand split could be cool too but I doubt many people will go for that.
I still think it should be named "The Plumber Memorial ..." - a bunch of thread will pop up asking if Plumby died ...
And still ... we need a humorous prize.

What would be cool would be if we could do a swiss-system, so you'd only have to play one person at a time, but nobody would be eliminated. I don't think RHP supports it. We could still run a tournament that way - administering it ourselves. Do you think people would play?
If a duel, what time control would you prefer?
