I`m just kidding... they are in the broom closet.

They should be fine after a stiff drink or 2.

Wow. You have too much time. πŸ™‚
Surprisingly it only took 90 minutes. Though I did start getting loopy after page 250.

I like big groups but I know a lot of people don't like to play as many games as I do. Perhaps maybe a 3x3 grouped random with 7/7 time controls would work. Grand split could be cool too but I doubt many people will go for that.
I like bigger groups too. I'm wondering, if we use galaxy's suggestion of 7/7 time control, does that allow those worried about too many games some room?

I still think it should be named "The Plumber Memorial ..." - a bunch of thread will pop up asking if Plumby died ...

And still ... we need a humorous prize.

I managed to bring them back to life. They are still very shaken, but otherwise fine. But most of my musical instruments are beyond repair. :'( I think I'll have a word with our clan doctor, things can't go on like this.

If the groups are bigger than four, I am out, even with a 7/7 time control. I would accept groups of four if I must and if the tournament doesn't start earlier than February. I would prefer a duel.

Hmmm, a prize... Allow the winner to kill the thread? ... No, forget it. My life would be grey and meaningless without the Dead Thread.

So murxie is in? He/she has already done the personality shift, now he/she only needs to change her/his avatar.

Well whatever we do we have to find a format that will allow you to play. While scanning through 310 pages I think I saw your name several times on every page. There can be no dead-thread tournament without you.

What would be cool would be if we could do a swiss-system, so you'd only have to play one person at a time, but nobody would be eliminated. I don't think RHP supports it. We could still run a tournament that way - administering it ourselves. Do you think people would play?

If a duel, what time control would you prefer?
