What do you think of the format option?
1) A duel, for those worried about too many games. Downside is we'll have some substantial mismatches in the early rounds.
2) Grouped. But few want larger groups.
3) Swiss system (administered outside RHP). Less mismatches and everyone gets to stay in, but it could take some time.

The original proposal was for the Plumber Memorial Dead-Thread Tournament to be limited to people who had participated in the dead-thread. Far and away the top all-time are Nordlys and Wildfire, so to call it a dead-thread tournament they have to be in it. It seems that we have to come up with a format acceptable to them. Nordlys says she cannot sign up for that many games, which leave most group formats out.
