oh yeah - I'm gonna win
No, it's not hypocritical. This thread is a lot more interesting. You can't learn Walrussian in the Word Association thread, for instance. You are also more free in this thread, because you can post whatever you want, no need for association. And you can't win in the Word Association thread. Oh well, forget that last point, you can't wint in this one either.

What ever you do don't tell Ark.. but a walrus in my garden told me that they were once related to the great apes. Apparently all the cheeky singles moved into the tropics and became monkeys...All the mother in law types went north and became walrus and their most used word is erforf... which is exactly what I told the one in my garden to do.... damn holiday makers (It's winter down here).

Hey, I am a Muffin, not a muffin! And if you take a bite of me, you'll most likely drop dead, just like the snake which bit a hinduistic priest (just read that in the newspaper). The only one who is allowed to take a bite of me is the thread, that way we'll finally get rid of it. But you can take a bite of my avatar, if you want.

She cannot speak Walrussian. Go try and lure someone with those old lousy muffins. And take that leer off your face, it's more than a little disturbing.

So the two seperate branches ; walrusses and monkeys are still on speaking terms then ? Arky could get quite upset if this comes out . Yes I agree TDan , best to keep it from him a while yet .

I learn soooo much more from this single thread, than from the entire rest of the internet 🙄

Now, how can I get a walrus to live in my garden? Probably not much chance as it hotter than hell here today.

A child's wading pool and lots of ice . It will work for a while , but he'll have to go on a diet and lose some of that insulating blubber .

Yes, but how do I lure a walrus to my yard?

The habitat is easy - I can unplug the heater from my hot tub and fill it with ice, and get a big bucket of fish. But my local pet store does not seem to carry walri.

I haven't checked eBay yet.

Maybe a monkey would be easier to find ...
