Why kill a harmless, undead thread? (even if it were possible to kill an undead thread...)

I'm not double-posting in a pathetic attempt to bump a dead thread. Really. Would I lie? I have such an honest face!😏

Bumping corpses? A strange hobby.

Well, I tried collecting them, but it seems that towns have rules about such things. Now I just bump them instead.

You *can* collect them, but only if you mulch them first.

Right mokko? πŸ˜‰

Today's Weird and Wonderful Word should be really useful on this site, especially in the Debates Forum.

Erin's Weird and Wonderful Word of the Day:
ultra-crepidarian

an adjective related to the (widespread) practice of giving opinions on topics beyond one's knowledge. The word comes from Latin words meaning 'beyond the sole' (of the shoe), an allusion to the story of Apelles and the cobbler, Apelles being the favorite painter of Alexander the Great. His shoemaker told him of a mistake Apelles had made in depicting a shoe, and Apelles corrected it. The shoemaker then presumed to criticize the painting of the leg as well, and Apelles said: "Don't criticize above the sole!"

Erin's Weird and Wonderful Word of the Day:
therianthropy [thayr-ee-an-throh-pee]

a feeling of psychological or spiritual identification with a particular animal. People who feel this way call themselves therianthropes or therians, and may consider themselves to have animal or part-animal souls. The species of animal with which a particular therian identifies is sometimes referred to as their theriotype. From Greek words meaning ‘wild animal’ and ‘man.’

RookRAK, are you a therianthrope, with a polar bear being your theriotype?

Yes, I think that is partly true of me. I do see some bear-like qualities in myself. Perhaps though I am a part-time therianthrope.

Hey Plumber!

As boring as the forums have been lately, 9 days might just be page 3.

So true! I actually almost considered getting a life! I got over it, of course.

I'm glad to hear it. If you got a life we'd miss you around here.

Did you read my news in the undead neighbor thread?

Yes, that's amazing! An undead woman. Maybe she's hiding. Or a spy. All the other options are still open! So she exists but mystery still surrounds her...

Exactly. See how much more fun it's been since I didn't just walk over and knock on the door to introduce myself. I've turned it into months of adventure.
