*sigh*
I take it that from your defiant tone that being gay is somehow a novelty where you live? Toronto has gay marriage, a large gay community and a gay pride parade that usually draws the local mayor, provincial premier, and often national MPs.
Don't worry, I'm sure less-enlightened societies will catch up to us sooner or later. Now if we could only make cannabis legal, cigarettes illegal, and introduce more aggressive environmental laws, we'd be perfect.
As some one who also lives in Canada, hell ya you put the tail on the donkey with that statement! Personally Homosexuality shouldnt even be a topic anymore, its very much practised and welcomed in Canada! And having many friends that are "Gay" is no big deal as i do, the more homophobic you are, they say the Gayer you are lol??? me myself, im heterosexual all the way, like the song im just a heterosexual man??? but i dont disagree or look down upon gay people, we are all the same and all so cool 😛
So much for liberalsism and democracy:

Liberal fascism stamps out people who have any opinion different to theirs, and MEPs threaten to reject the whole EU commision because one of them voiced his opinion (shared by millions of catholics, probably within the EU) that homosexuality is a sin.

Does the EU have a separation of Church and State?
Ah, and this fellow is a real charmer. Forget about Homosexuality being a sin. What he says about women? Is this the kind of guy who should be representing anyone in office?
( Oh and did I mention? the Red Sox beat the Yankees? )

Hardly anybody nowadays would argue that african americans shouldn't have the vote but not everything is so clear cut.
A few years ago it was common sense that a family environment (father and mother) was better for a child than what used to be called a broken home (mother (usually) only). Now you are seen as some kind of nazi if you even dare to think that.
I live in Toronto and I just recently moved out of the gay neighbourhood (or as we called it, the gaybourhood). I couldn't take the 40-something men in thongs and leather chaps anymore! God bless 'em but please - where's the humanity?! But at least I had a Body Shop, Club Monaco and a Health Clinic all conveniently located on one corner.

Well, "a few years ago" is the point though, isn't it.
I don't know if you're seen as a Nazi, but just as times change, so does information on things - like single motherhood and broken families, etc.
