Thumb question

Hopefully not a dumb question.
Lets say I thumb someone up (or down) and I get the wrong post, is there anyway to rectify that?
Or is the only way to go about that is to make another post explaining that you thumbed the wrong thread? (Because then you would lose your anonymity, which is one of the great things about thumbing ,ie maintaining anonimity)

Do everyone a favor and leave the thumbing to the proffesionals. Thumbs are an extremely important aspect of the RHP forum experience. One thumb in the wrong place could bring the the quality of this forum crashing down. I know where the thumbs belong, and if I see just one thumb out of place I'll know who to blame.
