I lost a game because of a time out. My opponent had the vaction flag set. I have been waiting for him to return. He has not returned but I lost the game because of a time out. I find it strange that a player can lose to a player who has set the vacation flag. I was respecting his vacation.

You could have moved and then still waited for him/her to return ... Sorry mate, but you get a yellow clock and then a red one to tell you to move, if you disregard both then you just learned a lesson here

He PM'd me back: "FU"
