No beans of any kind? Shame😵 Gotta' have the musical fruit. You said avocado, I think you mean artichoke don't you? I don't think avocados stand a chance there in MN.🙄 Have you tried the red plastic mulches around your tomatoes? Excellent results!

I lived quite a few years in the subtropical climate of South Florida. You are right about the way things grow. Besides the pruning bug management is a full time job also!
