Timeout draws?

How about this: for those occasions when someone seems to have abandoned a game, and you don't feel comfortable claiming a win - the capability to claim a timeout DRAW?

What does everyone think?

That is what you'd say.

There are two kinds of people: warriors and everyone else.
There are two types of people.

1. Those that are patient.

If you think you are in the best position, claim a win.
If you don't think so, then you could wait or resign.

Your opponent abandoned his game for a reason. Time him out. He accepted the game and its rules, so he has to deal with the consequences.

You can only resign on your move just like in tournament chess.

Not true. Go to one of your games that it is your opponents move, and look on the right side of the board. There should be multiple options and at the very bottom, resign.

Guess Russ bowed to pressure and added that in the last board update. Personally I don't see any particular reason to resign on the opponent's move.

Maybe if you know that you've screwed up, or the game is lost, you can end it and start a new one.

Think its just a game.... you can be patient for so long then claim the win ...if your opponent chooses not to move for whatever reason then he is not adhereing to the rules... and in the book of Diane if you snooze you lose...take those points. 😉

The problem is that offering a draw requires acceptance by the opponent, so it wouldn't work on an abandoned game, would it?

Don't be dull, click on the skull.
