With R Kelly's recent whining about timeout victories, I was wondering how
frequently some other players claimed victory this way. I went through the most
active player's games (Vaknso), and counted 124 timeout victories (out of 493). I
then went through the highest rated player's games (Xenophobe), and counted 50
timeout victories (out of 228). Using these two as examples, I guess one could
expect between 22% and 25% of their victories to be by a timeout. What does this
indicate? Only that I have too much time on my hands.
Ummmm, Where would my rating be without them? Thanks I never
bothered counting. I''ve changed my way of dealing with timeouts
lately. Now I give them anywhere from 3 days to a week after I can
claim the victory. Opponents either play or they lose. I play a lot of
new player who only make half a dozen moves then never play again.
