Hi yall,

Most annoyed about an opponent (who was being whipped like a good 'un) claiming a victory when I was 'on vacation'. As I'm fairly new to the site, what can be done about this? The guy plays with one day move frequency, no timebank, but when the opponent is away...? Where's the honour in that?

Don't know about your game in particular, but once the timebank runs out on a player, the system will automatically T/O them regardless if their on vacation or not. Most people here will honor another's vacation setting, but in no way are they obligated to.

Automatic time outs only occur in tornament games not in clan games or 1 to 1 games.

I don't think there are any situations where a non-pawnstar would get Auto T/O... unless it is a special non-member tourney?

Also, I message everyone I play to let them know I'll be gone for a bit... and please don't time me out.

you're right, maybe not honerable, but it's within the rules. Try to learn from this & don't run games with 1 day T/O if you can't comit to it, and if there's chance of a holiday in the near future start games with timebank to cover it. Other than that you can only try to lay people who you trust not to TO and take the losses when they do.
