Girl, I missed the post that said you were a black belt - is it true? If
so, full respect 'coz that takes loads of dedication.
Not sure I want to play chess against you - you're beating players I
normally lose against. I have no problem losing to a girl, just getting
wiped out by ANYONE is embarasing, especially if they're younger. But
then again, I don't tend to turn down challenges so if you have spare
time...
And if I can't beat you on the board maybe we'll have to sort it out in
the ring - I'm a pretty mean tai boxer. And if you beat me there, full
respect. I've been beaten by girls before and always admire that they
can overcome the (usual) heigh, weight and reach disadvantage. (ps.
this IS means as a gesture of friendship)
Freak - who's in a posting mood
Freak's fine. I reckon if people think of me as a wierdo they can't be
disappointed when they meet me. Plus I think everyone's a freak in
their own way.
Anyway, I'm 6'1"ish, 95kg. I'm only a purple but I've never really
bothered with gradings because they don't interest, and I have never
kept to 1 style long enough to progress.
I love the exercise and the buzz of sparring, but only do semi contact
because I don't believe in hurting people. And yes, most girls who
have beaten me have below 5'8" and not butch - it's a speed and skill
thing, especially if it's not full contact.
I'm in Belgium at the moment so finding a common ring might be
difficult (I've just been told I'm not good enough to train under Jean-
Claude Van Dam's trainer, but that's something to aim for)
But someday...?
