I'm willing to accept a forum ban (hopefully only temporary!) so that the General Forum can return to normal and other people can start or reply to other threads without those threads being polluted by a certain current antagonism.
Of course this might not satisfy my adversary's quest for justice if I request and willingly submit to a forum ban, because that might make the ban seem insufficiently punitive to meet my adversary's demands.

I doubt than any further apology would meet your standards.
Also, it's better not to give in to the demands of bullies, because each act of appeasement only encourages them and is detrimental to the community.
