* Leaded by Xavi and with Torres scoring big, Spain will erase Ucrania from the map. 3-1

* Tunisia - Saudi Arabia is quite out of my interest and knowledge... however, a boring 0-0 will prevail after 90 minutes

* Finally, Germany will hardly win 1-0 against Poland.

Your predictions, please?

Note: Raul has been benched. Finally a coach with the guts to do it, will Spain miss him or flourish?

I think so, too. I've left my prediction, but I'm tempted to change it. I think I'll leave it as a sort of wishful thinking prediction that is still quite possible.

Go Україна!!!

Edit: No Ukranian cyrillic... 😞

You know, mate, two things make me think Spain will do good. As you correctly stated, finally a coach brave enough to sit Raúl and, secondly, Xavi commanding the midfield.

My only question now (I will google it in a while) is who will be with Fernando Torres in the attack? Villa?

Xabi Alonso is one of the best passers of the ball in the world, even though he had a stinker in the FA cup final.

Spain should do much better this WC, than previously.

I meant Xavi, though Xabi Alonso is also a wonderful midfielder.

Here it is, confirmed by marca.es minutes ago... I think Spain will defeat Ukraine with this great, great starting 11

Casillas as GK. Defending Sergio Ramos, Ibáñez, Puyol and Pernía. In the midfield a true elegant football machinery: Xabi Alonso, Xavi and Senna. And attacking a scoring trio: Fernando Torres, Villa and Luis García.

I would not be surprised if Shevchenko got one against Spain.
