Tom Bombadil was the best in the books (which are by far better then the film anyway)
Unfortunaly Tom Bombadil wasn't included in the Lord Of The Rings movie..

I found Tom Bombadil really boring in the books. I can't see how they'd have fit him into the movies.

I think the movies are excellent adaptations of the books. I can't see how they could have done it any better.

the only thing i like about dwarves is their mithril. Jackson portrayed Gimli as a fool in the film which I thought was unfair while Legolas had Godlike abilities.

i would liked to have seen the fog on the barrow downs chapter in the movie, but in general jackson did an excellent job. looking forward to the dvd release of the extended edition of the return of the king

well i think frodo, he may not have killed the most orcs and berserkers for the enjoyment of us but frodo was the best part of The Lord Of The Rings the real stoneheart😏

Have u read Raymond E. Feist's Riftwar saga starting with Magician. Some deadly dragons in that.

If we're talking film then I really liked Sam, Pippin and Merry. I thought their vulnerability and courage came across very well. If we're talking books then it has to be Gandalf and the Balrog. I could read that chapter over and over. 🙂
