This guy had a contrarian view of psychiatry and psychosis that IMO is worth considering.
- Life is a sexually transmitted disease and the mortality rate is one hundred percent.
- We live in a moment of history where change is so speeded up that we begin to see the present only when it is already disappearing.
- Whether life is worth living depends on whether there is love in life.

full of horsemeat,
and disease...
some goofy mods,
a few hippies...

a dozen grannies...
special ladies,
several hussies...
two bananas,
three kiwis...
two nice guys,
a million meanies...
fourteen goats,
six monkeys...
one "for real",
the rest, phonies...
lotsa chickens,
all turkeys...
now i grow weary,

We've been eating horsemeat, and the supply just grows whoa wo.
Tonight I got upset,
although none know it yet.
A barb, cruel words, that sharp look.
My innocence, my trust you took.
I came here just to laugh and play,
a childlike mind now taken away.
New rules are now here to stay,
friendship I did mislay.
Life teaches us a short harsh lesson.
Deadly as anything from Smith or Wesson.
Then just as humans do need food,
change the menu, change the mood.
Cynical traits do now emerge,
I am standing on the verge.
Wondering should I cross?
Safe now but at a loss.
To make acquaintance or to not?
Am I happy with my lot?
Shall I venture forth?
Which new experience has some worth?
Just as one prefers peppers over salts,
which is true and who shall prove false?
The answer is you do not know,
until that fateful dice you throw.
There are many here who are good,
befriend you and not misunderstood.
but now and then do not forget.
Sometimes you will get upset.
