This guy had a contrarian view of psychiatry and psychosis that IMO is worth considering.
Some of the statements on his page are interesting:

- Life is a sexually transmitted disease and the mortality rate is one hundred percent.
- We live in a moment of history where change is so speeded up that we begin to see the present only when it is already disappearing.
- Whether life is worth living depends on whether there is love in life.

Tonight I got upset,
although none know it yet.
A barb, cruel words, that sharp look.
My innocence, my trust you took.

I came here just to laugh and play,
a childlike mind now taken away.
New rules are now here to stay,
friendship I did mislay.

Life teaches us a short harsh lesson.

Then just as humans do need food,
