Anyway, Tony Blair was advertised here as the British version of Bill Clinton. Which would make him fairly liberal. That is why I am suprised that the British government is so supportive of Geo W. But, then again, Ole Bill Clinton wan't afraid to throw a cruise missle or two around, which isn't quite par for the course for your garden variety Democra ...[text shortened]... will ID Saddam with DNA. How did they get his DNA you say? The CIA hired Monica Lewinsky... πŸ˜‰
How they do it is like this:
His daughters defected and live in America.

They have given Their DNA.
We have his DNA now,so doubles will not do.

I spit at him.

I didn't think this was true. It was my understanding that Saddam's daughters defected to Jordan in August 1995 with their husbands. They were lured back in February 1996 under a promised pardon from Saddam, but the sons-in-law were instead killed in their new homes and the daughters vanished and were presumed dead or imprisoned. Please correct me if my facts are wrong.

I think you may have confused them with King Hussein of Jordan who has daughters living abroad (England and the US I believe).

Actually I distinctly recall reading that we don't have Saddam's DNA.

We do have Osama's DNA, on the other hand.

From what I understand they got Osama's DNA from close relatives, as they will need to do with Saddam.

The coillition troops have That DNA.Both U.S. and British.
The troops went there with it so there is no doubt in their minds they are certain they will not get the wrong guy.
They set off with it,tucked in the glove conpartment.

Since we know everyone's opinion on George Bush, what is the general feeling about Tony Blair? Just curious.

Bill
I believe Tony Blair will go down in American history with the same respect given to Franklin Roosevelt by th U.K. At a time when the vast majority of America felt very isolated and alone by the paper pushing antics by the pukes at the U.N., this man chose to be a leader and not a follower. Against the wishes of many in his own party he chose to take the morally correct path, at risk of his own career. I will never forget the stand he has taken as long as I live. I think this man has as much courage as any in the westerm hemisphere in our times.

I agree with Rebel Bob. T. Blair is right up there with Maggie Thatcher when it comes to having moral courage, unlike the axis of weasels: Chirac, Schroeder, and Putin. Blair didn't listen to the moronic masses who pleaded to keep Saddam Insane in power; he grabbed his balls, yelled "Tally Ho", and he, GW and the brave British and American and Australian freedom-fighters unshackled the people of Iraq, while the three weasels "saw no evil, heard no evil, spoke no evil.πŸ™„

What is "morally correct" ? I don't recall anyone in the west lifting a finger when 1 million Rwandans were butchered with machettes over three months. Nor has anyone done anything to stop the deaths of 3-4 million people in the Congo over the last 5 years due to the conflict there. Or what about Robert Mugabe and Zimbabwe where a huge majority of the population now face starvation because of his despotic rule? Surely it would have been "morally correct" to do something and intervene there?

Don't know about Margaret Thatcher, but wasn't Blair's predecessor John Major? And I'm not British!

For what it's worth, If you look at http://www.whatthenationthinks.com, you can see the poll there is 55% to 45% in favor of Major supporting Bush.

who votes in that site, because is clear that the uninque conutry that is in favor the invasion was US!

Where is the decency? Where are the moderators? if this *7$5t> can get away with hate like "Bush thanks GOD every day for 911 each day" and poor old Uncle Adam has an entire thread zapped for a few rather inocuous jokes... You guys better develop an over all sense of fairness or some of us will inevitably stop visiting the forums... i know... no great loss. Right?

Well thas your oppinion and i respect it, let me tell you that i am against what happened 911, against the atrocities made by saddam hussein and anything that threat inocent peoples, i also love freedom but also dont like see someone abusing of power, everybody out of US nows the real objective of the war (invasion better said). And I say that Bush thanks because he was an impopular president before 911 the majority of us voted for gore, now killing people he is more popular!!, open your eyes, with this iam not offending anyone, just telling what i think, the same way you blame saddam i do.
