Haven't read the whole thread, but if you want authentic NY pizza go to Patsy's underneath the Brooklyn Bridge (Brooklyn side). Absolutely awesome place, not to be confused with the Grimaldi's chain, which is good, but not AS good.
Never mind, saw that someone else has already suggested this. Please remember that this location is the original and best though.
