How come there's a player in the same tournament as me who isn't a subscriber? I thought you had to be to enter?

You could be one when you enter and then the subscription runs out.
It is not a bad plan to join tons of tournaments and let your subscription expire and play out loads of games until you feel like you want some more then resubscribe.

Do we pay the same each year as when we first joined then? I've not really taken much notice as mine gets converted to £s
