@badradger saidYou should be happy and thankful to have something to eat, many in the world don't know when their next meal is coming.

When the in-laws cook for us here in NZ (they are British) it is always
a roast with Yorkshire pudding regardless of the season. At home we
just treat Sunday as any other day and have whatever is easiest.
But you've just made me fancy corned beef!

@badradger
My sister makes a mean corned beef pie 😋
I had a very colourful lunch of tinned sardines, salad, beetroot coleslaw, kimchi, sweetcorn and a savoury brown rice.
@wolfgang59 saidCorned beef is just awful.

Wondered myself thought why he couldn’t get a Sunday lunch at the moment, supermarkets are open, pubs and restaurants are also now open. Plenty of cows still, just saw an entire field of them from the train. Mystery indeed.

@trev33 saidTry making spicy corn beef hash. It's a game changer. Just do it in a fried left overs way like bubble and squeak with corned beef in and use a lot of spice when you fry it up. Serve with baked beans and a cold beer.
