ok so if a man says he is "transexual" does that mean he only identifies as a female OR he has gone thru actual surgery to remove male genitals? And is there a phase where this person is "in the process" of becoming a female....so what name would that be? wanna be trans?

They certainly are confused, but so is the law that is trying to help these confused people, and so are the people who profess to be trying to help these people.

There is a lesson here. .. Dont allow other peoples confusion to spill over into your life.

Keep away from them. They are bringing down the lawmakers and corrrupting the society with their evil transnonsense.

I had a neighbor, apparently biologically female, male appearance and name. I called them by name or non binary terms

From what I can see, if one *says* they are a gender opposite their birth gender, then that qualifies as "trans".
There are no other prerequisites, and you cannot be challenged as that is a crime (misgenderizing)

So word of mouth gets it done. there is no science or scientific verification to it at all.

I concur.

I believe that Dylan Mulvaney was known as a homosexual before deciding that he was a woman and the whole bud light thing that then erupted.

Following that thread - so much seems to depend on what happens between the ears of the “Trans” person, as opposed to the perceptions of the straight people around them, who are now subject to prosecution for not accepting the illusion put before them. But people lie, we have in the uk “trans women” who were male rapists, transitioned to female, then raped when incarcerated in a female prison.

So have you seen the roving mics on USA university campuses asking young men (mostly white nerds) if they would date a trans woman, and some rationalise it’s ok because the babe with a cock and two balls says that she’s a woman so it’s cool ?

I was interested by the way that black guys in run down neighbourhoods were asked the same and they laughed at the stupidity of the proposition as the “trans woman” was obviously a bloke.

My conclusion is that because you are going to university doesn’t make you smarter but probably more brainwashed.

Yes, that is why it is referred to as self-identifying. You decide what you want to be, and that is fine. The problem is when you would like to participate in activities and/or go to places, which are for specific types of people. The whole notion becomes a joke.

if there is only one person, I refuse to say "them, their, they" because that refers to TWO or more people. Not one person...
In England, I believe this has been commonplace , even before the trans confusion arrived.

This self identifying thing is relatively new, where we are asked to accept that gender is a concept. However, if you think it through, the concept is actually that “gender is a concept”, not that gender is actually a concept.

It is my philosophical position (purely adding this bit in case) that gender is not a mental state state, but a physical one.

My friend Michael was a hermaphrodite with reproductive organs of both sexes who had the outward appearance if being masculine and accredited himself that way. Once he had surgery, and Michael was then legitimately female (having a womb and periods), she took the name Michelle to reflect her newly acquired female gender. She was a rare exception.

This thread is a perfect example why a college education is important, for anyone, really, but for Americans especially. People like to just spew out what they think, which is usually wrong.

There is a whole freaking internet out there. Anyone can learn anything with a click of a button, yet far too many refuse to do so.

God save us from the ignorant.

What a pity you choose not to inform them of your perspective and your justification for it, but instead you attempt to condescend them and do the classic right-wing extremist thing: tell them to do their own research.

Homosexual like you, calling on God?
God made male and female.
Man made trans.
You are supporting man instead of God
God is laughing at you because ...
You are making an a$$ of yourself.

I don't mind using the preferred pronouns. It's no skin off my nose to show a bit of flexibility and respect.
