Can someone suggest a good trophies and plaque dealer in Toronto? Our club has organised a meet next month and needs to prepare all the necessary things in advance and one among them is the trophies for the winners. We want to engrave the logo of our club in the trophies. Some of our members suggested trophies and plaque dealer in Toronto called Hoult-Hellewell. Does anyone have a recent experience with them?

In the city in which I live in, almost all the trophy sellers - maybe 20 in the city I live in - are all on the same street, side by side, east and west of the road. This commercial phenomenon I can understand when dealing with quite high value or specialist products ~ like high end hi-fi equipment or top of the range cars in Tottenham Court Road, or books all along Charing Cross Road ~ but it doesn't make much sense with rather inexpensive and mundane items like trophies which are frequently purchased here for all manner of celebrations and are generally quite cheap. The 20 or so trophy shops in the city in which I live in would probably attract more custom if they were to locate at strategic points around the city and engage in a bit of advertising. The free advertising they get from being located in a place everybody knows probably doesn't make up for the fact that they can go through a whole day without a customer because potential buyers have 19 other outlets to choose from.
