Any other Truckers on this site? If so I'd like to meet you and play a game of chess.

Are you kidding...90% of the people on this site wouldn't know a 18-wheeler from a trouser-trout 😲... Now, ask if there are any Benz, Volvo, Saab, Fiat, Hummers or tricycle riders out there and I'm sure you'll get a response...but good luck anyway....😀

I hate to break it to you but you may be. Just see yourself as unique. Anyway, I hve a question. How does that work for you? Do you make moves while driving down the road? Plug in at a truckstop? Radio a move in? Just curious. Thanks.

I usually make moves at a truckstop. Before I dropped my laptop I have wireless internet service and I would make the moves in my truck when I stopped for the night or during a meal break.

I have a freind's brother who trucks... They started a small trucking thing with 3 trucks called "Moon Stone Trucking". Lasted only a couple years but my bud's brother started wearing cowboy boots and saying "ya'll" and "recon".

Ever see the guys from Horsless Carriage? They ship cars all over. I see one of them guys once a year at a car show in Hershey Pa.... and he's a nice enough guy. His rig has all the stuff. Sleep 4 if you needed and satilite tv. Nice rig.

Good money, hey? The guy was going to pay his truck off in 5 years and finished almost 2 years early.

Don't even get me on a fork lift! Sweeeee!

I know of 3 forklifts that went into the water at Pt. Judith... I got to see one. (Not my bad!!!!)

30 or 35 degree angle leading down a wet dock, and you either go straight or take the corner... you can't go half way!

I said, "That's why I wanted to drive"!

I hear one of the forks that went in took thousands of dollars worth of fish with it on the way back from the boat. That has got to suck. One of the guys who did it just plain got scared and bailed out halfway down... tsk.

Other fun fork lift stories include "ouch, my toes", and "Hey, is it bad that I just tipped your Airfreight Can of Lobster over"?

I can drive (not that well) but don't. Hate it and there's no need. I walk. City centre living has its perks!
