True sensitivity in men and women of all ages is always characterized by toleration, consideration and thoughtfulness of others. Period.

That's why he said "tolerance" instead of "acceptance".

We are NOT an accepting society. We are a "tolerant" society. Think about what that means and what it says about us.

Maybe, maybe not. Concluding intent was to cut juvenile drooling and subjective hypersensitivity off at the pass. Alternatively, "Period."

You do realize that toleration is in a separate category from consideration and thoughtfullness right? It does not belong with the other two virtures you listed. It is in fact, quite a few rungs down the ladder of virtuosity. Perhaps you meant to say "acceptance"?
