Just on CNN. It's not clear if it's a watch or warning, but various types of tsunami alerts have just been posted for New Zealand, Fiji, and Hawaii due to a magnitude 8 earthquake deep in the Pacific.

I'm not kidding. Be careful guys.

CNN says it's an official "Tsunami WARNING" for New Zealand and The Fiji Islands.

"Earthquakes as strong as magnitude 8.0 could trigger a lethal tsunami, depending on conditions and the nature of the quake."
