Tunes which attack your brain!

I have been suffering this phenomena a lot recently. For no apparent reason a tune pops into my head and stays there for most of the day. This is not the problem. My beef with this is why is it always crap cheesy tunes.

For example, the other day at work the theme song to the classic british sitcom "It aint half hot mum" popped into my head and I was humming it all day, in fact while in the comms room alone I broke out into a chorus.

Other songs that have afflicted me with this syndrome are just as bad.

There is a load mor, there should be a government health warning that comes with all crap tunes that they may affect your natural instinct for good taste. Its never a damn song that I like and I have to usually put up with it for the whole day.

Anyone here on RHP suffer from this "crap tune stuck in head" syndrome. And if so what songs have affected you.

Yes I too am a sufferer of CTSIH. Chief candidates in my case are the Muppet show theme and Christmas carols way out of season. In the latter case, don't hum in public or you get some realy funny looks.😳

Any kid`s tv show, and really old super crap songs like "Japanese Boy" and then no matter what you do the buggers keep comming back to the surface.....................
